Volunteering days at Telelink: Vitosha Nature Park gets clean and beautiful
2 June 2011

On the 28th of May the team of Telelink once again proved that it is ready to stand behind noble causes that benefit society by taking part in “Days of Volunteering”.
A group of members of the Telelink team called "We help" together with the officers of the Vitosha Park were the main organizers of a major initiative. Over 90 volunteers took part in a campaign for the cleaning of the Vitosha Nature Park and the construction of bridges over the Dragalevska River.
Nature parks are protected territories, and at the same time they are the most visited Bulgarian nature areas – with about 10 million visits per year. The most visited one is the Vitosha Mountain: three or four million visits per year.
The volunteers worked around the alleys and picnic areas nearby the Dragalevski Monastery. While some of them collected trash, others participated in the improvement of the park infrastructure. Four new bridges were built. All necessary materials were provided by the Vitosha Nature Park. After the hard work there was a deserved treat. Special thanks to all who took to heart the idea and joined in the initiative.
And for all who were and were not there, we enclose an evidence for a job well done.
